Karuna Care Association (KCA), an ISKCON-endorsed organization dedicated to emotional and spiritual care, has opened registration for its upcoming six-week online course, “Escaping the Drama Triangle.” The course is designed to help participants identify unhealthy relationship patterns, develop greater emotional awareness, and cultivate healthier, more empowering ways of relating to others.
Many people find themselves repeatedly caught in cycles of conflict, misunderstanding, or emotional exhaustion without recognizing the unconscious roles they may be playing. Based on the well-known Drama Triangle model, the course examines the relational roles of Victim, Persecutor, and Rescuer. Participants will learn to recognize these patterns and use practical tools to move beyond them.
Throughout the six-week program, students will explore how these dynamics can affect marriages, families, friendships, workplaces, and devotional communities. The course emphasizes self-awareness, healthy communication, emotional responsibility, and practical strategies for building relationships rooted in respect, compassion, and personal accountability.
Participants will learn how to recognize the Drama Triangle in everyday interactions and understand why people unconsciously assume unhealthy relational roles. The course will also cover communication skills that reduce conflict and foster mutual understanding, healthy boundary-setting techniques, tools for responding rather than reacting in emotionally charged situations, and strategies that support healthier relationships and personal growth.
The six live online sessions will be held on Saturday, August 29; Sunday, September 6; and Saturdays, September 12, 19, and 26, and October 3. Each session will run from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. In addition to the live classes, participants will receive access to course materials and join a supportive online learning community where they can continue practicing the principles discussed during each session.
