Dust of thy Lotus Feet is all I seek - O Vaishnava!

It is not an easy path, association makes it easier. In the days of the past, saints meditated for years to arrive at the conclusion that Lord Krishna is indeed the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Today we have the possibility to learn from those conclusions, and all we need to do is clean our heart, let in the light emanating from Krishna. We are always looking at bright objects (computer screens, mobile phone screens, headlights of cars, etc etc) but the soothing light of Krishna cannot be seen with these eyes at all.yet that soothing light is emanating from the eternally transcendental form of the Supreme Lord, and that is what we need to see. It can be felt in the heart after purifying it by many years of chanting. It is accompanied by Nada (the sound of omkaara) and it can be felt easily once the heart is pure, because it soothes the heart further. Protect your human body because the heart that has started chanting deserves to be protected all the time, Lord Krishna is doing it already for you, but one must take care of it. A small seed grows into a plant after lots of care and watering. Chanting is the watering, and we can care for it by reading scriptures, associating with devotees....surrendering is the final step.It is said that without the KRIPA (MERCY) of HARI, one cannot meet the SAINTS. The guru is already a saint, a perfected being, and Krishna sends such a Guru to gather disciples that can be imparted with the transcendental science of Krishna Bhakti. Srila Prabhupada intiated so many deserving souls, and they are doing such a wonderful job of spreading the Krishna Bhakti by preaching incesseantly. It is the mercy of Lord Krishna that flowed through the pen of Srila Prabhupada. This mercy is also flowing through the preaching undertaken by his disciples. They are fortunate, as they could see Srila Prabupada in person. For them the progress is easier. When the cows return home, after grazing, they raise a dust behind them, this dust is called Godhuli. It helps to identify the movement of the herd of cows. So also the devotees, as they proceed towards Krishna, are leaving dust behind for the other latecomers to find their way. One must place this dust upon one's forehead, as it is not ordinary dust.As we follow the great devotees, we will progress further in Krishna Bhakti, there is no doubt remaining about it.
