Despite recent challenges that have arisen in Bangladesh (see statement below), the Bangladesh yatra continues to do what it can to help those in need, including Food for Life programs that distribute thousands of prasadam meals to needy people and students. Additionally, they offer support and disaster relief efforts during floods and emergencies, as well as promote interfaith and cultural programs which foster peace, unity, and harmony across communities.
Public Statement on False Propaganda and Allegations Against ISKCON Bangladesh
In light of certain recent incidents in different parts of the country, some individuals and online platforms have been intentionally trying to link ISKCON Bangladesh to these events. A group of dishonest people and organizations are spreading false information, fake identities, and misleading statements to incite hatred against ISKCON and the Hindu community, with the malicious intent of provoking communal unrest in the country.
ISKCON Bangladesh would like to make it clear —
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is an international, non-political, non-violent, religious, and cultural organization, founded by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
The primary objective of ISKCON is to promote the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita — fostering morality, human service, peace, compassion, and interfaith harmony.
