Dear Maharajas and Prabhus,

It is with pleasure we invite you to the 10th annual Brighton Ratha yatra which will be held on Saturday 10th September, when the large Jagannatha Deities from ISKCON Birmingham make the 400 mile round trip for Their day out by the sea!

The procession will start on Hove Promanade (opposite the Victoria Memorial) right next to the beach at around 12pm for about 2 hours.

There will be coaches from London Soho St Temple (Bhava Bhakti Mataji 020 7437 3662) and Bhaktivedanta Manor (Madan Mohan Govinda Prabhu 07939 303867)

There are also direct rail links to Brighton from Radlett and Watford Junction (for the Manor community) and London Victoria (for the Soho community). Hove Promanade is a 15 minute walk from Brighton railway station.

Prasadam will be cooked and sponsored by Parasurama Prabhu and the Food For All team, and will be served BEFORE and AFTER the procession!

The chanting party will be headed up by HH Mahavisnu Swami and HH Janananda Goswami.

Over the last 10 years this festival has turned into an annual community gathering for the UK devotees and is jointly sponsored by the UK Festival Programme, Food for All UK, the Brighton Nama Hatta, ISKCON Birmingham and
London Ratha yatra.
