Don't miss the excellent opportunity to be showered upon with the blessings of Lord Krishna and the holy devotees and enjoy the delicious Krishna-prasadam in the Holy land of Vrindavan.

A few messages from the holy Bhagavatam on the importance of attending the Janmasthami festivals and in hearing the Bhagavatha Katha and eating the Prasadam offered to the Lord.

A brief narration from the holy Bhagavatam (7.14. 17)

na hy agni-mukhato 'yam vai bhagavan sarva-yajna-bhuk
ijyeta havisa rajan yatha vipra-mukhe hutaih

Translation by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupapada: The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna, is the enjoyer of sacrificial offerings. Yet although His Lordship eats the oblations offered in the fire, my dear King, He is still more satisfied when nice food made of grains and ghee is offered to Him through the mouths of qualified brahmanas. Lord Krshna tells to Uddhava in Bhagavatam (11.27.44-47) how to worship Him celebrating the festivals like Janmasthami :

upagayan grnan nrtyan karmny abhinayan mama
mat-kathah sravayan shrunvan muhurtam kshaniko bhavet
stavair uccavacaih stotraih pauranaih prakrtair api
stutva prasida bhagavann iti vandeta danda-vat

shiro mat-padayoh krtva bahubhyam ca parasparam
prapannam pahi mam isha bhitam mrtyu-graharnavat
iti shesam maya dattam shirasy adhaya sadaram
udvasayec ced udvasyam jyotir jyotisi tat punah

Translation by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupapada: Singing along with others, chanting loudly and dancing, acting out My transcendental pastimes, and hearing and telling stories about Me, the devotee should for some time absorb himself in such festivity. The devotee should offer homage to the Lord with all kinds of hymns and prayers, both from the Puranas and from other ancient scriptures, and also from ordinary traditions. Praying, "O Lord, please be merciful to me! "he should fall down flat like a rod to offer his obeisances. Placing his head at the feet of the Deity, he should then stand with folded hands before the Lord and pray, "O my Lord, please protect me, who am surrendered unto You. I am most fearful of this ocean of material existence, standing as I am in the mouth of death." Praying in this
way, the devotee should respectfully place upon his head the remnants I offer to him. And if the particular Deity is meant to be sent away at the end of the worship, then this should be performed, the devotee once again placing the light of the Deity's presence inside the light of the lotus within his own heart.
This is a golden opportunity for all devotees of Lord Krshna to visit the beautiful Krshna Balaram Temple at Vrindavan, where the Lord is always present and enchanting everyone with His scintillating lilas with Radharani. Anyone who visits this place will be blessed by Radharani and it will enable the person to easily attain Shyamsunder. Anyone who misses may wait for long to receive another opportunity to meet the Lord on this auspicious occasion of Janmashtami. We stand out to invite you to this glorious place and be blessed in life, for it will award you forever an eternal life in association with Radha-Krishna and participate in their mesmerising nitya-lilas together with the eternal Gopis and Gopas in Goloka Vrindavan.
