H. G. Vaisesika Dasa is an initiating guru in ISKCON. A veteran Yogi, author, and spiritual life coach, Vaisesika Prabhu travels worldwide sharing the practical wisdom he has assimilated from more than four decades of continual practice of bhakti-yoga. He has left his audiences in different corporations, universities with the message of universal spiritual development and equipped them with tools that immediately improves the quality of their lives.
He was born in 1956. As a teen, he was an avid spiritual seeker. In the spring of 1973 at the age of sixteen he received a Back to Godhead magazine from a friend, and within a few days moved into the ISKCON temple in San Francisco. With the blessing of his parents, he became a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, and a full-time monk dedicated to the practice of Krishna bhakti. Today he lives in the San Franciso Bay Area with his wife Nirakula Devi Dasi, also a disciple of Srila Prabhupada. Together they have developed an ISKCON community of more than three hundred families in Silicon Valley based on the study, and distribution of Srila Prabhupada's books.
Vaisesika Dasa is the president of ISKCON Silicon Valley (ISV) where he has inaugurated many projects. He is also the North American sankirtana strategist and ISKCON’s regional GBC secretary for Northern California, New York, and New Jersey. In addition, he also serves as the Director Marketing and Innovation at the BBT.
