# 7 November 1947--Born in St. Louis, Missouri, USA on the tenth day of Kartik.# Before joining ISKCON was a counter-cultural song-writer searching for spiritual enlightenment and a message that could deliver the world from chaos.# Fall 1968--Was first introduced to the Mahamantra by a nondevotee friend.# December 1968--Decided to leave the modern civilization behind, go to India, and become a life-long renunciate. But at the last minute felt he was supposed to go to San Francisco instead.# January 1969--Met the devotees in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park.# Spring 1969--After spending the night and attending the morning program at San Francisco's 518 Frederick Street ISKCON temple realized that soon he would achieve the enlightenment he sought, but was held back by a Mayavadi conception of the Absolute Truth.# Spring 1971--Met His Holiness Visnujana Maharaja in Austin, Texas and became convinced of the existence of Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead and that the perfection of his existence would be total surrender to Lord Sri Krishna's pure devotee, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.# 12 August 1971--Initiated by Srila Prabhupada via a letter from London.# 1972-- Traveled with His Holiness Visnujana Maharaja on the "Road Show".# 1973-1975 --Started and maintained daily prasadam distribution on the University of Florida campus. This program has been going on uninterruptedly since then. It is the longest running prasadam distribution program in ISKCON history.# 1976-1976-- College lecturing at ISKCON Atlanta.# 1976-1977-- Assisted Brahmatirtha Prabhu (Perfect Questions/Perfect Answers) in highly successful congregational preaching program at ISKCON Houston.# 1978-1982-- Assisted Tamal Krishna Goswami as his Corresponding Secretary and head of his Radha Damodar Tape Ministry.# 1982-1984-- Started and maintained ISKCON Center in Norman, Oklahoma, USA.# 1985-- Married Srimati Vishnupriya devi dasi, attended computer programming school.# 1986-1989-- Set good Grihastha example while working as a computer programmer, by faithfully attending morning programs, chanting 16 rounds regularly, and giving regular monthly donations to the ISKCON temple in Dallas.# 1989--Was number one BTG Subscription Distributor in World-wide Marathon to bring BTG back into print. Wife was number two.# 1990--Gave up computer programming career to become sales manager of Back to Godhead Magazine.# 1991-- Reopened ISKCON Austin.# 1991-1993-- Award-winning Salesman for MCI (long distance telephone company) working part time to support ISKCON Austin.# 1994-2004-- Ran successful home-based part time travel business, Travelrama, to support ISKCON Austin.# December 2000-- Received blessings of GBC for initiating disciples on Gita Jayanti Day.# January 2003-- Started Internet-based "Ultimate Self Realization Course", attracting thousands of people throughout the world to advance themselves in Krishna consciousness.
