Dear MAHARAJAS,PRABHUS AND MATAJIS with big joy and happiness we are forwarding you our message which we already uploaded to our website,webportal and facebook , but since some of you help us all the time and cooperating in our projects, we decided that we want to share our situation in this more personal way with those of you...we are looking forward that you will be able to help us - either by prayers or blessings or financially...
We have only 1 more week left till the beginning of our 8th Harinam tour - '' Traveling Mediterranean Festival of India 2011'' , in organization of Avadhuta association and cooperation with ISKCON KARLOVAC ... This year we were planning to slow down little bit our rhythm, as years run us down, responsibilities of getting older,accumulated tiredness and stress.But something from the inside,feeling when Krishna is satisfied,when fire of preaching burns out everything in our heart, those things supply us with great enthusiasm and we decided to launch one more time this crazy adventure – the biggest adventure of all. Last year we visited 7 countrys in relation to our 7. year of this Harinam tour, and this year we plan to visit 8 country in our 8TH in the raw year of preaching.
In this millennium when technology revolutions are happenning,when Kali-yuga really accelerated,atmosphere is overloaded with mediocre,material sound.It's so rare to hear,see or sense something transcendental and favouralby,something outside of this world. Because of that reason we decided to give our best and to make this harinam tour even better,bigger and deeper than any before.
This year Sri Sri Nitay Gauracandra Harinam tour is the biggest of all in many different aspects.This tour connects 8 country's in Medditerrain : Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo , Albania , Macedonia , Bulgaria and Greece . For the first time we will visit Bulgaria and Greece,but the biggest highlight will be KOSOVO. It is the last country in Europe were no Harinam was ever present in history, so it will be our great honor to transmit Holy Names and glory's of Sri Sri Nitay Gauracandra into towns of Peć and Prizren. Traditionaly till now, last 7 years we performed every year, for the first time somewhere, at least in some city or island, but in last two years we played for the first time even in some country's.
In 2009. we played for the first time in Montenegro, and in 2010. we were for the first time in Albania... That could be very dangerous,especially if in those country's the majority of religious practice is Muslim (Albania) or Orthodox Christianity (Montenegro). In Kosovo those two practices are similary highly present so we will see how will we survive this time – ha ha ha. In this 7 years lord Nrsimhadev has protected us and never happened something that was too dangerous, except devotees and people scared us too much in the beginning of our intentions , like : ''Auuu you are so crazy, DON'T GO TO MONTENEGRO !!! DONT GO TO ALBANIA !!! '' - they used to say... And this year devotees are even more concerned than ever, but are hoping on the basis of past experiences that everything will be OK... so we need your blessings and auspicious prayers ...
This year the group will contain 20 devotees all over from Croatia, Slovenia,Bosnia,United States of America, Mexico and France... and we will travel for thousands of miles and try to present this ancient culture and wisdom in around 80 cities, in over 100 Harinams.For some of those cities it will be their first Harinam on their ground.In Macedonia, around 15. of august , we will get accompanied by HH Candramauli swami ,and he will stay with us till the end (also in Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania and even few more Harinams in Croatia when we come back ). For this opportunity we constructed 5 meter long stage,120 kg of weight, which can hold up even 15 devotees at the same time, and with that scene whole program got even nicer, and more cultural aspect.In the background of that stage we will hang up 3 meterl long and 2 meter wide jumbo poster with picture of Lord Caitanya and Nityananda , dancing in Nagar-sankirtan alongsite with other devotees .
Actually in every aspect this tour is spreading and growing bigger. Harinam will have attractive festival program which will hold bhajan, kirtan, presentations of yoga, fashion shows, tasting of prasadam,drawings of mehendi (kana) on the arms of guests, small class, etc...
As you can see this project is even bigger than last few years and it requires a lot of organization and it needs big financial supply's to prepare it... also, a lot of prasadam for devotees and for all of our guests on the tour, travel taxes, travel fuel and other travel expenses, administrations, etc etc...
Through this application we would like to humbly ask you for your help in any form - blessings , prayers,donations in that way you will actively involve yourself and help us so we can fulfill this dream of Srila Prabhupada,who used to say that it would be very nice that some Harinam group exist which travel throughout different country's and preaches trough Harinama sankirtana ... In world there is existence of those kind of groups ( but its a pity that there is only few of them active at the moment ), so it would be very nice that you can help us that we can follow those trails,and become one of those active groups in the world...Till now we collected one part of necessary sum, but there is still a lot of finance that we need to cover up. To show with his example, first person who involved itself in project was HH Candramauli swami who said that he wants to help in any way he can,because this preaching project remebers him on the ''old days'' and he wanted to install his own personal example by giving a
donation of 250 eur for the tour...
And now we want to speak a little bit about the numbers ...
So for this seasons before trip we will have expenditure of around 3000 EUR - the highest sum ever needed for our preparations. Last year we wanted to send you financial report at the end of our tour (because this humble tour already become very large ), but we didnt had enough time for that, so we just send to all of you the list of all donations. The overall expense was around 5000 EURO or 37 000 KUNA...your donations were about 2000 EUR and we got somewhere around 5500 EUR on the tour ... majority of remain finances (around 80% ) was left for our temple SRI SRI NITAY GAURACANDRA MANDIR and other financial leftover (around 20%) was left for expenses of our Avadhuta association ... Harinam tour helped us so we can easily relieve activities of our temple for few months – but every year temple expenses are getting bigger and bigger ,and on Harinam tour we get smaller and smaller financial sum. And at the end if we didn't have Avadhuta association this year it would be very very hard ,because that society is the one which holds on activities of temple last 3-4 months, thanks to all of their projects . Congregation ''pockets'' are very weak during this time of global financial crysis,and our sankirtan wasnt so effective during the last few months...so without Avadhuta,we would be very probably broke... SO PLEASE,IF YOU HELP AND SUPPORT OUR TOUR AT THE SAME TIME YOU ARE SUPPORTING OUR TEMPLE ALSO !!!
