When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

When I was working in Mysore Karnataka, once I went to railway station to drop my friend. Then while I coming back have seen a book seller on the footpath. Just I have a look and seen a small book with a very very beautiful face of Supreme God Head Lord krishna. I asked for the price and he said just 5 Rs. I brought it and read it the book name is "ATHEETHAM"( a malayalam copy). I exited and attracted because of Srila Prabhupad's teachings. In the last page we can see so many Iskcon centers and temples's addresses and I come to know that a very big Iskcon temple is located at Bangalore chord road. After few moths I got transfer to Bangalore. Their I join with one of my cousin at electronic city, in frequent time I was telling this things to my brother and he said ok we will visit Iskcon temple and become very Happy. Every weekend I were asking him to go Iskcon temple and every time he will agree to me that we will go today, but most of the evening his friends will come to our room and they will arrange party. The next Sunday I told him that today you did't come I will go alone then around 4 "O" clock I left from my room to Iskcon Temple. Then some how I reached to iskcon temple. Their first I enter the temple arch thay given a Hare Krishna Mahamantra card ant asked to chant, and there I found 108 stepping stones when we step on a stone we have to chant once like wise 108 times then we can entre in to the temple. After I enter in to the temple I got sweet prasadam then I walk to see the diaty I could seen a different ritual & custom of worshiping lord krishna entirely different from kerala style. I asked the sevaks about the temple and the ritual things. They speak me about so many things but I didn't under stand all those things at the time. Then few minutes I walk around and then go for another prasadam. Their I got prasadam ina leaf plate it was bangaly kichadi. I enjoied it and I got two small beautiful photos of lord krishna from the counter. In that two photo somebody take one from me even though other one photo till today I kept in my wallet. Then I came back to room and some time I was thinking that I want to take Life membership in Iskcon. One day I call bangalore Iskcon temple and I tell them I want life membership and they told me the facilities of Life member card 18000 Rs is the membership fee come and join but at the time I was earning very small income and I was not able to spend that much of money.If my memory is correct It was happened in 2001-2002 years. Then after a long time only I could connect with Iskcon. In 2006 end I came to dubai and I shifted to sharjah in 2012 and then in 2013 September or October only we could joint with sharjah Srivasangan Iskcon group. Vijayendra Krishna Das Prabhu introduce us to the Srivasangan Group Sharjah with one of my colleague Mr. Aswin Kumar. Me, n My Wife Keerthana, My 2 year old Daughter Krishnaveni are every friday attending satsang. We visited Kolkatta Iskcon Temple, Jagannath Puri Iskcon Temple, Bhubaneswar Iskcon Temple, Mayapur Dham, Navadweep Dham etc...., And recently by the mercy of our Guru Jaya Pathaka Swami Maharaj, Srila Prabhu Pad, and Lord krishna we blessed with life membership through our senior devotee Murari Gauranga Das Prabhu Ji. Hare Krishna......

Hare Krishna... All most 14 years back I were knowing about ISKCON and now since last three years I blessed from Lord krishna to attend Satsang in sharjah Srivasangan. In my life I realized lord krishnas mercy up on me in different life situations and I understand lord Krishna Is the supreme personality of godhead. In my city their we have a lord krishna temple (Thodupuzha Sri Krishna Swami Temple, Idukki Dist, Kerala) and in most of the morning I was praying to lord and some time offering flowers to lord. I could listen so many stories of lord krishna from my mother and grand ma. They given me the essence of krishna prema in my childhood. I am very eager to hear lord krishnas lilas in Sri Mad Bhagavatham and reading Bhagavath Geetha As It Is....In my life I understand that I am always attracting in Krishna Lilas., Frequently we were visiting Lords guruvayoor dham., When I am thinking lord krishna my mind will become peace. And in this time with ISKCON satsang our guru Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj and Srila Prabhupad blessed up on us and gradually I started to realize the hire taste of krishna prema....Hari Hari Bol... Hare Krishna... Hare Krishna.....

What are your expectations from this community?

To improve our level of Krishna Consciousness and to preach Bhagavath Geetha As It Is and Sri Mad Bhagavatham.

After studying and Understanding Vedic Scriptures Sri Mad Bhagavatham, Bhagavath Geeta As It Is., we would like to Preaching ., Offering Prasadam.
