I want to begin

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My first intoduction is through Bhagvad gita as it as, a master piece in spiritual literature. I am very fascinated by its teachings. I am immensely happy to know that Hare Krishna movement, is there to guide even youngsters like me towards spirituality.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I am only a beginner. I visited Hare Krishna temple at hyderabad which is nearest to me. I do not know about any devotees. To know them is also one of the reasons for joining this desire tree. What desire is greater than the association of pure devotees?

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

From my childhood I liked Krishna very much. I derive intense pleasure in hearing about glories of Lord Krishna. I read Bhagvad gita as it is and got attracted by the teachings of hare krishna movement. I want to serve lord krishna as enjoined in sastras

What are your expectations from this community?

I want to be in touch with latest happenings of ISKCON. I want to know more about Krishna and His devotees. I want to transform myself into a man whom Lord Krishna likes.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

After I am employed. However, I very much admire the Krishna consciouness movement, which is benefitting the whole world. I am ready to do what is in my capacity.
