Sorry Mario, I haven't checked my page for ages. I just saw this. I'm happy to hear you are getting closer to Krishna even if the medium is an unfaithful wife. Krishna is so compassionate and clever. He insistently pulls you closer and never gives you a test you can't pass. By taking shelter of Him you'll gradually overcome the pull of women.

Also, with the pain Krsna is teaching you to be more tolerant and forgving. Pain can be a great teacher.

Forgiving is letting go of the toxicity of resentmet in your own heart towards this person. Being concerned that he is too close to your wife and wanting to do something about should be viewed as a separate issue. In other words, forgiving doesn't mean one must condone an action that is wrong or that you view as wrong. I think it is healthy to be concerned about another man's association with your wife and being forgiving doesn't mean you turn a blind eye to something that you sense is, or could be, problematic.

Forgive him, but that doesn't mean you have to accept what he is doing.

You are a good devotee, Mario, because you take the problems and hardship in your life as sent by Krishna for your purification. The strongest attachment as a man, is no doubt the attachment to women, or one's wife.

It seems like trouble and pain when she walks away, but if you take it as Krishna's mercy then it will turn into detachment. You'll surrender to Krishna instead of your wife. Yeah! :)

So it's all Krishna's favor in the end. We can't become attached to Him and detached from matter, unless He allows it.

Yes, everything is degrading very fast. It is so obvious. And there is only one solution - to seek shelter at Krishna's lotus-feet.

I couldn't agree more. Srila Prabhupada said that it would have some serious consequences to slaughter all these cows, as they do.

I have also received a text with predictions for 21st century, according to the shapda rishis. Interesting reading. If you want it, let me know.

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I initially became aware of the Hare Krishna movement in the mid 70's when I was a child and witnessed their harinams in the streets of Sydney.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I repeated the mantra for 7 years in the 90's and then stopped. However I had no association with devotees and strayed into impersonal realisation of God for about 9 years. I thought that was the highest level of God realisation, but now I realise it isn't, so I have moved back to devotion to a personal god. So as I see it I have graduated from the level of impersonal realisation to devotion to a personal God. I have recently started repeating the mantra again with much deeper understanding, devotion, and effect in my life.

What are your expectations from this community?

I am in need of association with devotees. I am surrounded by materially minded people who are not interested in Krishna Consciousness at all. I am massively outnumbered. I find their mentality unsatisfying to be around.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

To me the first and greatest service to Krishna is to do my best to offenselessly chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra.
