When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

i am born hindu and its our tradition. when i started reading baghavad gita at the age of 18, i was slowly understanding KRSNA and finally, when completed reading gita, then, its the point where i completely understood KRSNA and i am back in KRSNA's adobe !

about my spiritual life, i always think of krishna and his words from baghavad gita in every thought, words and deeds of my journey/duty in this material world. sometimes, i get carried away by this illusory energy of krishna (maya). and the same baghavad gita fetches me back in krishna consciousness. Work life, by the grace of my lord, i have completed my B.E in electronics and communication. and my goal is to get into the Indian defence academy and give my best, so that i can make my companions/ my country a peaceful and a spiritual place for all the devotees of the world, who aspires to lead a meaningful life as a krishna consciousness person. Social life played a very important role in making of karthikeyan(my self) by krishna, by giving me the necessary and comfortable economic conditions in enhancing my love towards krishna. i feel, if krishna would have given me more richness and more fortune, i think, i would have aspired for material enjoyments. but krishna has kept me under his protection, by giving me bit difficult, but cosy place and surroundings to always remember him in the midst of happiness and struggle . i thank him very very much for making me always remember of thyself ! i dont want to fix to this statement, because, mu lord can turn anybody to thyself just by a glimpse of smile. and finally ,"THE SONG THAT I CAME TO SING REMAINS UNSUNG TILL THIS DAY". i have many goals to achieve and this achievements are not for my enjoyment but for krishna's enjoyment. as i am the part and paracle of krishna, i want to show, what a krishna consciousness person can achieve in this material world tooooooooooooo ...............!

What are your expectations from this community?

i may be wrong, but, i feel, many people are sitting quietly saying that, KRSNA will come and rescue them instead of fighting with this material conditions of kali yug bravely. they have forgotten that, KRSNA is with in themselves and they are capable of achieving any thing either in this material world or any other world and finally a last call KRSNA's adobe ! i want this community to enlighten the people and give them strength, hope, energy and knowledge of real and non-real !
