When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
When I was 14, I started learning about iskcon
my step mother showed me photos of here travels in india, and taught me about the Hare Krishna people. I was only 7 at the time.
When I was 11 my dad and step mum broke up. I got sent to live with my aunty. I really missed my step mum but every time I would remember her, I would remember seeing RadhaKrishna and Iskcon devotee.
When I turned 13, I left home to live with child safety in Townsville. I was a practing Paganism at the time. I was in a very terrible place mentally and physically. During then I haven't spoken to my step mum for nearly 4 yrs.
With her advice I moved to Innisfail. That's when I quit smoking, drinking and doing bad and horrible things. I tried my best to learn about hinduism. I found my self attracted to Krishna. With Krishna I became more happier, healthier and kinder. I am so so proud to see how far I have come and I'm glad Shreekrishna was with me holding my hand as I went on my life journey.

I like art, studying, musical instruments, animals, reading. I always want to learn about Shreekrishna. Hearing his name makes me so happy.
