When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
In 1983 in NY. I found solace in the shelter of Lords Krishna's love, beauty, and his mercy. At the Schermahotn st , Brooklyn Temple. I live in the opposite end of Brooklyn. And , the area wasn't terrible, but rough. Now I have isolated myself away from the pandemic, I want to do more, attend festivities, meet other people who are still celebrating his holy name.

I am a white, Latina female I am tall, and maybe with a very, tall young, man. He's almost 7 ft tall. I have a NY accent, and it stands out, I was told, I talk a little faster than other San diegans. And, I talk about my Seva. About, my interest to protect the cows, to get the attention of Sweet Krishna 🙏🏻 My friends save homeless street cows. I can't be in Vrindavina because I can't afford to travel. I have Radha Krishna 🙏🏻 that welcomes me to make the move. It is an honor to have friends there who love Krishna so much they work and volunteer for the cows. I am very fortunate to have a part in this. Seva is saving my soul. Haha
What are your expectations from this community?
To find other devotees and friends of Krishna who live near me,if they would be interested in gas money if I could ride share. The public transportation is terrible in San Diego.
