When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Schermahorn St. Brooklyn,Ny. 1983. Lord Krisna has never turned his back on me. I am a fool and need to constantly acknowledge Him.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I visit online because I dont have a car and live far from the temple. I have been reaching out.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I live with my son in City Heights San Diego. Dreams of going to Vrindavina to visit the cows I help feed brings me hope that one day i will be able to. I don't have many friends. I have a nice sized property and wish others can join me in growing organic gardening. I have a small altar to offer Prashadam. I can play keyboard and read and listen to epics about Lord Krisna, Ved Vyasa, Hanuman, etc. The material world is rough. It is unmovavable, illusory, and full of misery. When i chant the Holy name Jai Krisna, and play or listen to music my heart fills with joy. And, i realize the path to spiritual freedom is thru God. I wish i can find others who also play music, and others who perform Sankirtana. In nyc there were always plenty of devotees performing Sankirtana in the parks, streets, but here I don't ever see any. Still i reach out but have not received any call backs for ride sharing to visit the Temple in Pacific Beach. There should be another temple or meeting place. Like Balboa Park.

What are your expectations from this community?

I have no expectations. Prabupada teaches that one should never put expectations on people, but here it would be sweet to meet others who like to play music, share recipes, etc.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Right now in Vrindavina I sponsor a family who performs Seva by protecting the cows they coral off the streets. I enjoy cooking, baking, dancing, art, and music. Photography, and animation. I wish to fly with the swans🙊🙉🙈
