Member 1970-1987, initially Boulder, Colorado, but lived in many centers, principally L.A., Denver, Philadelphia.

In ISKCON, was first to initiate outreach to international academic community, and was Director for Interreligious Affairs. Editor, "Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna: Five Distinguished Scholars on the Krishna Movement in the West" (Grove Press, 1983. Editor/Compiler, "The Spiritual Master and the Disciple" and "Namamrta: The Nectar of the Holy Name." Authored introductions to Srimad Bhagavatam, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta and other Prabhupada books. Author of various articles on ISKCON publised in academic books and journals. Forthcoming book: "India in a Mind's Eye: Travels and Ruminations of an Ambivalent Pilgrim" (Monkfish Publishing House). etc.etc.etc.
