When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I was searching for answers to my questions and inner peace. I tried many religious paths. I worshipped lord Shiva and I think he is the one who introduced me to Krishna as Shiva is the greatest Vaishnav.. i read about Shri krishna and shri Chaitanya mahaprabhu and since then I m following Vaishnav principles in my life. It gives me immense peace. And I m chanting hare Krishna maha mantra, eating satvik food since then. It completely changed my life.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Iskcon Mayapur is nearest of all the centres but it's 8 to 9hrs away from my home.So I haven't got the privilege to visit iskcon so far. I came accross gaudiya vaishnavism by reading about Chaitanya mahaprabhu ,I wish to know more and be a part of iskcon. I watched videos of Sri amogh Lila Prabhuji and Amarendra prabhuji and really want to be a part of Iskcon since then.

I was born and brought up in West Bengal. Right now I am in IT as well as preparing for civil services. I like to read paint and listen to music. From 2 years I am into spirituality.want to know more and more about it. And it gives me immense peace and happiness.

What are your expectations from this community?

To motivate me to be a better krishna devote and know more about Vaishnavism.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I want to learn Vaishnavism more because then only I can spread krishna consciousness more. I want to raise awareness on Gau seva and want everyone to treat cows with love.i have recently donated for food seva in iskcon Dwarka website(very little amount but with the best of my capacity).
