When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

When I was about 12, I met two Vaishnava travelling monks. I naturally gravitated towards them. They handed me a copy of the Bhagavad Gita and “Vedas: Secrets from the East” which I still have the same copy until this day. I became vegetarian, however didn’t pick up the Hare Krishna religion until the age of 19, I was a very devout Buddhist for 4 years where I learnt the various doctrines but didn’t get the same ‘spark’ I get from reading the Bhagavad Gita. Now I have a copy of the Srimad Bhagavatam, and a collection of Sri Prabupadha’s Books as I was eager to buy them when I remembered Krishna. I don’t associate with other devotees just yet.

I’m from Nottingham, though haven’t visited my nearest namahatta just yet.

I wish to work to support fellow Vaishnavas as well as find my Swadharma and use that to devote myself to Krishna.
