When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Since i was young, I always felt a connection to Lord Krishna. I was raised in a family where we worshipped demigods but it didnt feel quite right to me and a few months ago i started reading the Bhagavad Gita and then i started finding out more about Lord Krishna and everything about maya and the three modes of material nature, and everything suddenly made sense. I really want to progress in Krishna consciousness but I dont know how to.

Hare Krishna Temple Watford - ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor I do not know any devotees since the last time i went there was months ago

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am actually only 16 years old living in the UK, and my parents are non-devotees. I found out about the Hare Krishna Movement myself, and I read the Bhagavad Gita every day as well as chant, but it is hard for me to balance between my day-to-day responsibilities and expectations from family as well as chanting and rendering devotional service to Krishna. I often feel overwhelmed and stuck in life because I don't know how to manage all this and I don't have anyone to talk to about it either. I try to do as much as i can, i fast often, and try to increase my number of rounds of chanting slowly. I am not able to go to an ISKCON temple since it is far away from where i live, but i hope i will be able to in the future.

What are your expectations from this community?

That they could help me through my journey back to Godhead

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Anything at all, since i am not able to offer any service to Him right now.
