When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

A friend of mine took me to the temple back in 2014 when I was in class eight, I did not anything back then and he just took me saying you will get to eat lots of tasty prasadam. I am attending temple events and I am visiting my local temple regularly from then, I had a bit of disconnection period back in 2017 during my exams.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Iskcon Guwahati My Siksha Guru who inspired me was "His Grace Nitai Lilesvar Dasa" Prabhu, whose teachings will always stay with me, I am still in touch with him. Also, H.G. Sudarshana Prabhu, H.G. Rudradwipa Prabhu and H.G. Hare Krishna Avtaar Prabhu are some of the exalted devotees I have been in association with.

I joined my local temple back in 2014 and have been practicing Krishna Consciousness for a long time but I still struggle to practice everything nicely, I don't have any family support, so I am finding it very difficult to balance everything at the moment, I want to get initiated and take things seriously and sincerely but I have not been able to do so, It's been more than a decade now for me and I am still feel to be at the same state with no improvement. I just pray to Lord for his mercy and guidance all the time because I feel so helpless sometimes. I hope I get some mercy and things start happening in right direction for me, so I can take up my activities for serving Krishna with Full enthusiasm. I am working currently as a developer and just graduated few months back and am chanting 16 rounds.

What are your expectations from this community?

I want get proper guidance and learn and also help with my realizations and ask questions, and be a part of the community to connect with more positive devotees and grow together with all, as all of us are parts and parcel of the Supreme Lord so we should help each other without being envious.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would love to make garlands for the Lord and would also love to apply my knowledge of computer science to build websites and apps to help in propagation of The teachings of Srila Prabhupada.
