When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Long back in 2003 when I was pursuing BE, I read biograpy of Sril Prabhupad. In 2005-2006 whenever possible was going to Sunday feast programs at ISKCON. Koti, Hyderabad. In 2010 got good collection of different audio/videos of ISKCON from a devotee friend at MTech Program.
In 2012 devotees association increased when we purchased house adjacent to ISKCON, Mira Road.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
ISKCON, Mira Road (E)
Revati Pati Das Prabhu, Raghunandan Das Prabhu, Kripa Sindhu Das Prabhu. Satvadhan Prabhu,
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I have read different spiritual scriptures, books, auto biography of saints, devotees etc. in last decade, This has definitely help me in the life to select pious paths whenever there is conflict in mind. Some times I got succeeded, and some time defeated in the life long battle with Krishna's Maya/Sansar.
But unless Krishna shows his mercy, It is difficult for Jiva like me to win this battle, and Krishna's mercy only depends on increasing association with devotees and Chanting his blissful holy names. So I am in search of disciplined routine life with getting more and more devotion and devotional service at the lotus feet of Krishna.
What are your expectations from this community?
Association with devotees. Hearing/reading the discussions that glorify the Bhagwat (Scriptures), Bhakta (devotees and Bhagwan (Krishna). Increase study of Srimat Bhagavad-Gita, Srimat Bhgwatam and become more and more Krishna Conscious.
