When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In New York at age 16, when my wayward brother returned home with a volume from the Krishna Book.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Phoenix or Las Vegas. Both too far away. I live near Kingman, AZ. There are many Indian people in my area, particularly doctors and their extended families, but I do not know any devotees in my area. I was fortunate enough to find Sankarshan Das Adhikari's Ultimate Self Realization course and Google group for his students on the web.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

Aspiring (but very lazy) devotee for many years.
