When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My father joined Iskon when it first started in Kenya, but we lost contact along the way, then my brother started coming regularly since 1992

Sri Sri Radha Bankebihari Temple, Nairobi, Kenya. Umapati Das Prabu, Rukma Das Prabu, Hari Das Prabu, Nandgopal Das Prabu, Nandlal Das Prabu, Ghanshyam Das Prabu, etc. Mohan Priya Mataji, Shyam Priya Mataji, Nandrani Mataji, Chaitanya Devi Dasi Mataji, Dwarikavasini Devi Dasi Mataji, Draupadi Rani Devi Dasi Mataji, etc.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

Have been coming to temple for many years. Retired from full time job in 2008, after which have become a serious devotee. Took life membership in ISKON. I do my rounds without fail everyday, observe the recommended fasting days, have seva of Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra and of Laddu Gopal. I do daily abhishek for my Gopal, and offer bhog four times a day to my deities. Am reading the Bhagavat Gita and Srimad Bhagvatam seriously, along with the smaller books. I have fixed seva at the temple once a week and do whatever extra I get.

What are your expectations from this community?

Support and guidance along the straight and narrow road to sincere devotional service and cultivating strong Krishna Consciousness.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I can do flower arrangements and make garlands reasonably well. Can help in cooking, stitching, cleaning, etc. Any help in organizing functions, helping with logistics, etc.
