When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
1. At my native place of Salem From my Mother started spelling 1997 out Hare Krishna and he had taken my son(age 5 or Less) and daughter to take for ISKON prabuji's Bajan's. This habit made my son not drink Coffee.
2. My Colleague at Oman made me to attend Bavath Gita Class for few day and started Chanting and Experienced lot of blessings from Supreme Krishna.
3. In my 10th standard Sri Raghavendra Guru blessed me to know about Krishna.
4.Being in Qatar My Colleague made me to join with a group of people and requested me to give them Place to have Bagavth Gita Class.
The above said made me Enter in to this web site to become Member Id

Sang means group. SanKirtana is chanting loudly, glorifying Hari, in the fashion of call and response, is called SanKirtana. Sankirtana movement was started 500 years ago by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Who is Krishna Himself, who appeared in the mood of Shri Radha, and as a devotee of Lord Krishna.
Caitanya Mahaprabhu is considered crown jewel of all Avatars of Krishna. Prabhupada said, "And the specific significance of these incarnations is that to engage in their ways of self-realization is simply joyful,'' "Kevala Anada Kanda"
Nagar Sankirtan means, performing Sankirtana in the streets, on the footpath, in the open, on the road, etc.
Name of the Lords is none different from Lord Krishna Himself. Identical. Therefore, when Lord Krishna's primary names are taken in public, its like giving Krishna Darshan to the listeners. Simply listening to the Names of Krishna is like taking a bath, for the soul. (We are the soul. Not the body)
