The Final Mystery Of All Mysteries

My dearest friends,

जय निताइ! हरे कृष्ण! Joy Guruvarg!

Krishna always hankers to be with Radha. He does not think of or wish for anything else. He created the whole existence just to do that. He accepted the form of Gaur also for this same thing, to understand and relish Radha’s love. Due to this one-pointed goal, He knew that He honestly won’t be able to personally save the most abominable souls of Kali-yuga. So He requested His brother Balaram to become Nitai by exhibiting the final pinnacle form of all mercy which was never seen before. This is actually how Gaur saved us all. But very few want to understand this simple truth. They still foolishly want to put more faith in Gaur Radha Krishna than in Nitai for their deliverance. They don’t know that Gaur Krishna has exclusively appointed Nitai specifically for this purpose. They think that they are very advanced to approach Gaur Radha Krishna directly while conveniently ignoring the fact that Nitai is their only hope and that it in their true self-interest that they should take one-pointed shelter of Nitai.

This mercy-form of Nitai has no parallel in the past, none in the present, and never ever in the future. He is truly THE ONLY Lord of the fallen. Those who realize that Gaur Radha Krishna can never be truly attained without Nitai are the only souls in creation who will reach Them in truth. Since They are busy in Their internal pastimes, Gaur Radha Krishna have mercifully sent Nitai to us so that we can approach Him first. Still if we want to egotistically bypass or ignore or minimize Nitai’s importance, then we blatantly reject the only way which Gaur Radha Krishna have offered us to factually approach Them. How ungrateful and wretched we are?

If we eventually get some good sense and realize this eternal truth, then the next question which arises in our mind is how to worship Nitai? Let me tell you the secret of of all secrets. When Ram’s monkeys or Ram Himself chanted “Ram” and threw the stones in the water, all the stones drowned. But when they, including Ram Himself, wrote “राम” on them and then threw them in the water, they floated. This proves that writing the Name is more powerful than even chanting the Name and the Nami Lord Himself. And among all Names of God, “निताइ” is the most merciful. Thus, Nitai Airwriting or “निताइ” Vayulekhan is the ultimate process to save ourselves from hell, get offenseless love for Harinam, and to reach Nitai very quickly, thus getting to be with Gaur Radha Krishna in this very life itself with minimum effort.

So you may ask what exactly is this Nitai Vayulekhan? I will give you THE answer which will unlock the whole creation before your eyes in a very short time. Get ready! Your fortune is about to change and good luck is about to inundate you. Here comes the most mysterious, esoteric, unmatched, and ultimate spiritual process of all times.

“Write the 10 Sanskrit strokes of “निताइ” (the “Nitai” mantra in Sanskrit) one by one in the air in large size with your forefinger in the sequence shown while minutely visualizing every inch of each stroke via the persistence of vision as you write it in the air in front of you. You can do it with closed, half-closed, or open eyes, whichever helps you to mentally or externally visualize each stroke in the most clearest manner. Repeat for at least one round (108 times) daily. Do more rounds for increasing your offenseless love for Harinam and Gaur Radha Krishna even faster! You may rest your elbow on a surface while writing in the air, take breaks, do it at any time and place in any condition, remember the meanings of each stroke, and hear Nam (but not chant or sing) while doing it.”

In addition to Nitai Vayulekhan, singing Nitai Lilakirtan with a harmonium, mridanga, karatals, or simply by clapping hands is the topmost method to chant the Hare Krishna Mahamantra in Japa and Kirtan offenselessly within a very short time.

The rarest love of Golok, which was never given to anyone even upon asking for multiple lives, was distributed freely to the most fallen by Nitai, even without asking for it. This love of Golok was unattainable for even the most exalted personalities of this universe before the advent of Nitai. All logic failed during the deliverance pastimes of Nitai. Be it the children, or be it the ruffians, or be it anyone, all got love at the hands of Nitai. Nobody was left out. There was no discrimination. The nectar of immortality which emerged from Samudra Manthan was only given to the Devas and not the Asuras by the Mohini incarnation, but the nectar of pure love which emerged from the streams of Nitai’s tears was sprinkled on one and all without any discrimination. When the Supreme God of Mercy (Nitai) distributed the highest love in the creation, then great personalities like Brahma and Shiva stood in the same line in which even the lowest of mankind were present.

dīna hīna patita pāmara nāhi bāche
brahmār durlabha prema sabākāre jāce

“Lord Nitai freely offered this exalted prema, which is difficult for Lord Brahma to attain, even to the fallen and wretched souls who did not desire it.”

There may or may not be equality in the eyes of the law of this mundane plane, but there is unquestionable equality in the wet eyes of Nitai. What to speak of rivers and lakes, even the greatest oceans may dry up one day, but the compassion filled eyes of Nitai won’t dry up ever as His love for the fallen souls is going to last forever. Krishna shot arrows from His Saranga bow and killed millions of offenders mercilessly. However, Nitai also shot arrows, not from His bow, but from His brow, and filled millions of such offenders with Krishna-prem simply by glancing.

ār nāiko kalir bhoy
ācaṇḍāle den nāma nitāi doyāmoy

“There is no more fear of the age of Kali. The most merciful Lord Nitai gives the Holy Name and Krishna-prem to even the candalas.”

This Kali Yug is truly blessed by the advent of such an exalted personality like Nitai. Now I realize why it is mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwatam (11.5.36) that enlightened persons will worship the upcoming Kali Yug. True. True. It is true. This Kali Yug has surely become an object of worship because for the first time the greatest offenders are not punished mercilessly but rewarded with the highest prize of Prem by the inconceivable mercy of the Supreme Personality of Unconditional Compassion (Nitai). And this Kali Yug will continue to be worshipped by the enlightened persons till the time Nitai’s mercy via His name will spread all across the globe and enlighten even the most degraded and deluded souls.

Krishna is the supreme enjoyer, Rasaraj vigraha, and thus His pastimes are tinged with the features of His "sweetness," where He relishes all of His majestic opulences and qualities as Shri Bhagavan. Each pastime of Shri Krishnachandra is imbued with this central focus of His all-attractiveness. Even the mercy (Kripa) aspect is concealed behind this sweetness. Therefore His pastimes are called the Madhurya pastimes. The aspects of Krishna's relishing propensity (supreme enjoyer) and the sweetness of His all-attractiveness (Krishna means all-attractive) are predominant over the mercy. Krishna is Lila Puroshottam, thus His absorption in His internal pastimes is more intense than His pastimes of delivering the fallen souls. These pastimes are a great source of transcendental pleasure for the pure devotees, but for the diseased sufferer of material contamination, they do not provide the strongest treatment. The aspect of delivering fallen souls is often overlooked because of the absorption in pastimes. Even while dancing on the hoods of Kaliya, we can see that Krishna's incentive is not only the purification of Kaliya, but He is simultaneously also exhibiting His own playful pastimes by dancing, etc.

In His form as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, His pastimes are situated in Audarya, which circulates on the feature of magnanimity. Audarya means distribution. Madhurya is based solely on relishing and Audarya is relishing and distributing. In this way, Gauranga is more liberal in distributing mercy to the fallen, forsaken souls. However, even in Krishna's Audarya swarupa as Gauranga Mahaprabhu, the Lord has many moods which He must relish in confidence.
The nature of these transcendental moods are so confidential and elevated that they cannot be exhibited or relished even before most of His own intimate associates. Although the Lord has externally accepted the form of a devotee, within He is still the supreme enjoyer and is engaged in relishing His various moods.

All of Gauranga's pastimes have a hidden reason behind them which are for the sake of relishing these moods. The deliverance of the fallen souls is only a secondary cause of His appearance- there is another superior reason which is the root of all His activities. For example, the Lord's acceptance of sannyasa was certainly for the deliverance of bewildered Kaliyuga jivas, but there was a deeper cause. Gauranga had to fulfill the internal cause of His advent (antaranga prayojan) of relishing Radha's madanakhya mahabhava. This mood would not be relished to the fullest extent if Mahaprabhu remained at Navadvipa as a dutiful householder. This is why during the final years of His worldly manifest pastimes, He remained locked up in His room in Gambira relishing the mood of separation from Himself (Krishna) felt by Radharani. Mahaprabhu did not engage in any preaching during this period, in fact He would barely appear even before the devotees who were suffering intolerable pain in His absence. Krishnadas Kaviraj explains in the beginning chapters of Chaitanya Charitamrta while describing the mystery of Gauranga Mahaprabhu, that the deliverance of the fallen souls and distributing Harinam is only an external reason of Gauranga's appearance, but not the core essence of His advent.

So we can see from both Gaur and Krishna's pastimes that the uplifting of fallen souls is not always the primary focus, the Lord must also relish His other moods. However, this is why Nitai has come solely for us! He has given up even His own enjoyment desire as the Supreme Personality of Godhead and is engaged only and only for the one goal and incentive of taking every single soul back to Godhead. Abhimaan shunya means that Nitai has given up everything solely for us...even His own suddha ahankar, which induces to relish as the supreme enjoyer. Nitai is advocating only for our enjoyment, so that we may come back to our original state of eternal blissfulness. His greatest enjoyment is to see us attain perfection. This is why we will notice that

every single pastime of Nitai is intertwined with this feature of somehow giving mercy to the souls of this world. Gauranga wants to relish other pastimes, but Nitai's only pleasure and ananda is in picking up the rejected souls and taking them to Gaur Krishna. This is why Gaur engaged in His scholarly pastimes for 19 years before inaugurating the sankirtan movement, but Nitai began spreading Gaur Krishna consciousness from the very beginning of His appearance in Ekachakra.
Even though Nitai is also relishing the confidential mood of His own madhurya swarupa Ananga Manjari, He nevertheless does not give up His mammoth task of running behind the bewildered Kalihata jivas even for a single moment. The driving force behind Nitai's appearance is the excruciating pain He feels seeing the pain of the downtrodden jivas. Indeed, He is the one beseeches Gaur in Goloka to appear in Kaliyuga with a medicine for the deliverance of the fallen souls.

aye bhratar nrinam kali kalushinam kinnu bhavita
tatha prayascittam racaya yad anayasata ime
vrajanti tvam ittham saha bhagavata mantrayati yo
bhaje nityananda bhajana taru kandam niravadhi

He is not distracted from His goal of delivering the fallen souls even for a fraction of a second. The only cause of Nitai's advent is to pick up all the fallen souls one by one and take them back to Godhead.

Kaliyuga kalushita jiva bichaare
gina gina tera tera saba taare

So why should we not wholeheartedly surrender and serve the Lord who has come solely for us, to save us?

THE ONE AND ONLY LORD WHO GOES BEYOND EVEN THE DEFINITION OF MAGNANIMITY!

“Srila Prabhupāda said persons who give themselves to others are called magnanimous.”

-Prabhupada Lilamrita, Vol 4, Chapter 33

This is the true description of a person who is filled with the quality of being magnanimous. If we consider this definition carefully, then who is undeniably the most magnanimous personality in the whole creation?  How can there ever be any doubt or dilemma regarding this when there is only one person standing in the competition in the first place!

The one Whose magnanimity is above and beyond all other forms of comparison, whose level of magnanimity surpasses even the definition of magnanimity itself!

The one who not only fully gives Himself, but personally goes door to door to sell Himself to every soul… holding onto their feet.

Apanare bikaay bolo Nityananda Raya!

Who else could it be apart from Doyal Nitai- the one who is actually eager to fully give Himself away to even those who do not understand the value of this charity!

jare dekhe tare kahe dante trina dhori
amare kiniya laha bhaja gaurahari

Whomever He meets, catching a straw between His teeth, He begs, “O Brothers! Please do the bhajana of Sri Gaurahari and purchase Me, purchase Me, purchase Me.”

Oh what can be said, His name itself means "take Me as yours!" Ni- take me, Tai- as yours! Even though we are protesting to accept Him as ours, by hook or crook, He is still making us accept that He is ours by making us say that when we hear or utter His name. And because we have said "Nitai," even without really knowing what we have said, Nitai assumes that we have accepted Him as ours and comes running immediately to give Himself away at our disposal.

Imagine, the first thing we become acquainted with when we come in contact to a person is their name, and the very first thing Nitai is saying to us via His name is, "Oh jiva, take me take me, I am all yours!" Even before anything else can be said or done or understood, Nitai has already given Himself away!

Moreover His act is selfless; He does not even ask for anything for Himself. He is selling Himself simply for our own deliverance and for the worship of His beloved Master. Krishna sells Himself to those who have surrendered to Him fully and know no one else apart from Him.

tomara hridoye sada govinda-visram
govinda kohena—mora vaishnava paran

Nitai sells Himself to those who do not even know Him! And then He gives them the highest treasure of pure love of Godhead.

Krishna stays far away from those who are engaged in sense gratification and proclaims to never be attained by them.

jihvara lalase ith uth dhaaye
sisnodhara parayana krishna nahi pay

However, Nitai goes crazily running after even the lowly dogeaters, and vows to never leave them. Achandaale den nam Nitai doyamoy! Even while giving the Nam, He is giving Himself only because Nitai is the personified form of all mantras as declared by Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya, sarva mantra swarupascha. Hence, we see another way that Nitai is distributing Himself to the vast masses of souls in Kaliyuga- it is in His form as Nam Prabhu as well. Nam is Nitai, and Nitai is the one distributing Nam to one and all! If we accept Nam, then also we are accepting Nitai only! So either way Nitai has ensured that He is giving Himself away to us. Have you ever seen a Lord this desperate to give oneself away? Krishna makes His devotees go through so many tests and snatches everything away from them in order to check to see whether they are really qualified to receive Bhakti, because He knows that if once someone becomes His pure devotee...He will have to become sold out to that person, and Krishna being the unconquerable, uses many tactics to see whether the recipient of such a mercy is truly qualified. Krishna is the greatest trickster, He does not give in so easily. Even while appearing to give a boon to His pure devotees, we can see that He first mentions about brahma sayujya mukti and siddhis without even hinting about devotional service. This is His trick to

see whether devotee is truly qualified to get Bhakti and therefore attain Him. Even Gauranga tested Sridhar Kolavecha during the Mahaprakash lila to see what he will ask for. So there are so many conditions to attaining Gaur Krishna as ours, but Nitai has given Himself away even before we have made the resolve that we want Him!

Nitai's mercy is unsurpassable in this whole existence. Only Nitai’s devotees can compete with Nitai’s level of magnanimity, because they are also distributing Nitai everywhere.
Actually in this case if we analyze the definition of magnanimous carefully, as laid out by Srila Prabhupada, we can see that it is ONLY NITAI who is truly MAGNANIMOUS, because it is only Nitai who fulfills this condition of giving Himself away.

There is no Lord as magnanimous as Nitai, and there are no devotees like Nitaibhakts who give that most merciful Thakur Nitai to one and all so easily.

Doyal Nitai! Doyal Nitai!

Either Nitai Or Nothing.

“Svayam-rupa Krishnachandra does not give those whose hearts are polluted the power to realize His Gaura pastimes, which are meant for instructing all. Without the mercy of Sri Nityananda no one has the qualification to serve Sri Gaurasundara, to understand Him, or to attain love of Krsna.” (Source: Shrila Bhaktisiddhant Prabhupad’s commentary on CB 3.2.114)

In the above commentary Shrila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Thakur writes that if our heart is polluted than Krishna does not give us the power to realize His Gaur Pastimes.

Additionally, in Navadvip Dham Mahatmaya, Gaur’s Pastimes are described as the most appropriate wealth for the souls of Kali Yug.

ara eka gudha katha suna sarva-jana
kali-jive yogya-vastu gaura-lila-dhana

The important question is, “What is the use of wealth if one cannot use it?” If one has a polluted heart then even if one reads or hears the Pastimes of Gaur one will not be able to realize it as realization needs power and that power is not provided to us by Krishna in a degraded state. It is only Nitai who gives us the power to understand Gaur’s Pastimes even in a polluted state. It is only Nitai who enables to use this most appropriate wealth. Otherwise even if we possess it we cannot do anything with it. What to speak of enabling us to use this wealth, if Nitai’s mercy had not been there, then it would not have been possible for anyone to even attain this wealth. It was Nitai only who ordered Maya to remove her veil from the pastimes of Gaur.

badai dayalu prabhu nityananda-raya
gaura-tattva prakasila jivera hiyaya..20

"This unprecedented causeless mercy of revealing the Gauranga Nama-Lila Tattva (Spiritual Truths) in the hearts of all souls which was never before seen in the past was possible only because of most magnanimous desire and order of Lord Nityananda Prabhu."

tanra aagyaa peye maayaa chaade aavarana
subhakta pandita-gana paaya shaastra-dhana..21

"Accepting the direct munificent order of Lord Nityananda Prabhu to reveal Lord Gauranga's Name and Pastimes to the world without any further delay,
Maya, the illusory energy, lifted her veil which concealed Lord Gauranga from time immemorial, and the sincere and fortunate devotees could find the treasure of the verses glorifying Lord Gauranga's Name and Pastimes in the scriptures." (Navadvipa Dham Mahatmaya, Chapter 1, Text 20 & 21)

If Nitai had not ordered Maya, out of His burning compassion for the suffering souls, then nobody would have been able to even know who is Gaur. We get aware of our sambandh with Gaur-Radhey-Shyam by Nitai’s mercy only.

Furthermore, Shrila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Thakur mentions that without Nitai’s mercy no one can serve Shri Gaurasundar and no one can attain love of Krishna. Shri Gaurasundar is non-different from Shri Shri Radha Krishna. Attainment of service of Gaur-Radha-Krishna, which is the abhideya, the eternal duty of all living entities, is also impossible without Nitai’s mercy. The quest for Krishna-prem, the prayojan, the final goal of Bhakti, can never be successful if one does not receive the blessings of Nitai.

In short, if you cannot attain sambandh without Nitai’s mercy, if you cannot attain abhideya without without Nitai’s mercy, and if you cannot attain prayojan without Nitai’s mercy, then what can you attain without Nitai’s mercy? Nothing, but failure and falldown. Therefore, we must have an infinite amount of conviction that in realm of devotional service, there is ‘Either Nitai or Nothing.’

The highest form of ignorance (avidya) for a living entity is to consider transcendental personalities and objects as ordinary and mundane. We are not able to understand the transcendental nature of Hari, Guru, Vaishnavas, Their activities, the Holy Dhams, the Deities, and the Holy Names. We are always trying to impose our contaminated mundane conception on them. This is the real reason why we are still in the material world.

Lord Krishna tells Arjuna,

janma karma ca me divyam
evam yo vetti tattvatah
tyaktva deham punar janma
naiti mam eti so 'rjuna

“One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.” (BG 4.9)

Thus, faith has such a crucial role to play. The value of faith should never be undermined. It is the most valuable asset of a practicing devotee, losing which, a devotee may lose the chance to go back to Godhead in this life. The billion dollar question is, “why are we not able to have the required faith?”

maha-prasade govinde
nama-brahmani vaisnave
svalpa-punya-vatam rajan
visvaso naiva jayate

“For those who have amassed very few pious activities, their faith in maha-prasad, in Sri Govinda, in the Holy Name and in the Vaishnavas is never born.” (Source: Mahabharat)

It is clear from the above verse that one must have a prior record of pious activities in bulk from one’s past lives in order to obtain this faith. But can we do anything about our past lives? No. So what is the solution to this problem. It is said that if we do not have the requisite sukriti then even if Krishna comes in front of us we won’t be able to recognize Him.

We do not have faith that is why we are not advancing. And because we are not advancing, in spite of our efforts, that is why we are not having faith. This seems a vicious circle. The Vaishnavas can increase our faith but we do not even have faith in the Vaishnavas. The scriptures may also increase our faith but once again we do not have faith in the scriptures. We are stuck in a terrible situation where nothing seems to remove our deficiency of faith.

Krishna further tells Arjuna,

moghasa mogha-karmano
mogha-jnana vicetasah
raksasim asurim caiva
prakrtim mohinim sritah

Those who are thus bewildered are attracted by demonic and atheistic views. In that deluded condition, their hopes for liberation, their fruitive activities, and their culture of knowledge are all defeated. (BG 9.12)

Shrila Prabhupad writes something very important in the commentary on the above verse which must caution every devotee,

“There are many devotees who assume themselves to be in Kṛṣṇa consciousness and devotional service but at heart do not accept the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, as the Absolute Truth. For them, the fruit of devotional service-going back to Godhead-will never be tasted.”

Thus, an atheist stands no chance of deliverance. And to some extent we all are atheists. Is there any Lord who is still ready to deliver us? Is there any Lord who is ready to have pity on us? Is there any Lord who is ready to accept the fact that neither we have transcendental faith nor the requisite sukriti to obtain that faith, and still accept us as His own? Yes. Only Nitai. Doyal Nitai.

pasandi o dekhilei matra kare stuti sarvasva dibare sei ksane haya mati

“Seeing Lord Nitai, even the blasphemers and atheists offered prayers to Him and yearned in their hearts to offer all they possessed to Him.” (Chaitanya Bhagawat, 3.5.358)

It is worth mentioning the commentary of Shrila Bhaktisiddhant Saraswati Prabhupad on the above verse,
“Those who consider transcendental Vishnu and Vaisnavas as equal to mundane objects or ordinary persons are called pasandis, or atheists. Even such godless people would offer respect to Nityananda Prabhu when they saw Him. By seeing the Supreme Lord, their mundane conceptions based on material enjoyment were vanquished. Therefore they ended up surrendering everything to the Lord. Those who surrender everything to the Supreme Lord do not see the external world as the object of their enjoyment, in other words, they become liberated souls.”

Thus, Nitai’s darshan does not need prior faith but the required faith is obtained by His darshan only. Faith continues to remain important. But in the case of Nitai there is no reason to worry. Nitai is so compassionate that He not only rewards us faith in Himself but also in Hari, Guru, Vaishnavas, Dhams, Harinam, etc. The darshan of pure devotees also builds up our faith. But if by mistake we commit some offense at their lotus feet then we are finished. There is no such fear with Nitai, because,

(emon, doyāl to nāi he, mār kheye prema dey)

“Oh! Such a merciful personality as Nitai is not to be found anywhere! He suffers a beating from Jagai and Madhai and still gives them the love of God!”

There is no difference between the Name of Nitai and Nitai Himself. Thus, the same applies for His Name as well. We can have Nitai’s darshan in the form of His Name syllables by the unique process of Nitai Vayulekhan. Don’t you think we must also increase everyone else’s sukriti by spreading Nitai’s Name and Nitai Vayulekhan as far as possible. That will be the greatest welfare activity that we can perform in this rare human form of life.

Moreover, all those who would never surrender to Krishna will surely surrender to Nitai. Who will never surrender to Krishna? Once again let’s hear from Krishna Himself regarding this,

na mam duskrtino mudhah
prapadyante naradhamah
mayayapahrta-jnana
asuram bhavam asritah

“Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me.” (BG, 7.15)

As a matter of fact, Krishna is referring to all of us as we all fall in these categories only. Shrimad Bhagwatam states that people in Kali Yug are grossly foolish and elsewhere it is written that we all are born as shudras in Kali Yug. As far as knowledge is concerned we are taught only the illusory subjects in modern schools and colleges. So no hope of receiving transcendental knowledge. In short, we have really become atheistic in Kali Yug. Hence, people in general, do not even like to talk about Krishna. And even if they do take up the process of Krishna consciousness, very rarely does anyone surrender to Krishna genuinely. Surrender needs faith and faith is what we lack. Hence, unfortunate souls like us can only surrender to Nitai for He does not mind a deficiency of faith as He is always eager to remove it Himself.
