When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

For the first time 1993 but I wasn't ready to take the step even though I was deeply attracted to the philosophy. I started my real journey in a more serious way in February 2021 when I got the chance to study Bhagavad-Gita for almost a whole year together with a devotee I met during a totally different education.

Almviks gård. I'm there on a regular basis and I'm known by most people who live there

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am a Swedish devotee with a deep love for written words, teaching, nature and singing. I'm still feeling like a small baby in Krishna consciousness. There's so much to learn and so very little I know, and the more I learn the more I find that there's so much I still need to study. I'm working as a life coach and a tutor in meditation and creative writing. A lot of my time goes to my grandkids and I'm also trying to live at Almvik a few days every month when possible.

What are your expectations from this community?

To learn, learn, learn. Get inspired and maybe get at least a small chance to inspire and support somebody else who might need it. The last bit, to give to others if possible is a hugely important part.
