When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

1969, New York City, Greenich Village lower east side. As a young teenager I would see devotees chanting and collecting donations in conch shells. I was very young but never forgot. Then again saw the devotees in Boulder, Colorado in 1971. Took prasad but still didn't surrender. Then in Los Angeles in 1977, New Dwarka dhama, I finally decided I couldn't take the material world any more and threw myself at Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet for good.
