Which part of Chennai are you from? I have visited Chennai before. My last trip was in 2003. Its not my favourite city. I have to admit that. I guess Chennai is a city of extremes. Its either you like it or not. Then of course most other major cities in India are like that too; Kolkatta for instance. But I love Chennai for 2 things. They are the Sri Parthasarathi temple in Tripllicane and Kapaleeshwara temple in Myalapur. The only 2 reasons why Chennai is still on my list of places to visit in India. The 3rd reason now would be, you of course. I have no friends in Chennai. So its a good thing that you came along. Maybe the next time I can pop in ..... if I am invited of course :) By the way I can speak Tamil fairly well though I am a Malayalee.
