When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Many years ago when I was in my teens in Manhattan. I used to see them all over NYC and I always felt at home with them. But I didn't officially become involved with ISKCON until I was 27 when I saw the Universal Form.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
Sri Sri Radha Govinda Mandir 305 Schermerhorn St, Brooklyn, NY 11217 It's been closed due to Covid and there has been big changes in Temple management and a New Temple President. So everything is in transition. It used to be RamaBhadra Prabhu as Temple president.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I am just a Jiva like everyone else. A servant of the servant of the servant.
What are your expectations from this community?
Just to have an online community of devotees and Krishna consciousness to be involved in.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I am disabled and I cannot do much walking anymore. So my service is chanting the holy names and staying krishna conscious as much as possible.
