When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My journey toward the Hare Krishna Movement has unfolded gradually by the mercy of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. Since childhood, I have shared a deep bond with Kanhaji. Being a single child, I have always considered Him my brother. As I grew older, that relationship deepened, and today I see Him as my Lord, Guru, father, mother, guide, mentor, friend (sakha), and my everything. Over time, I developed the habit of constantly chanting "Radhe Krishna" on my counter, which gradually increased my attraction toward devotional life. By the Lord's divine arrangement, I purchased an ISKCON edition of the Bhagavad-gita and began reading it. Later, I started following the online Bhagavad-gita course by H.G. Amogh Lila Prabhu and was inspired by the teachings of many devotees and spiritual speakers, including Premanand Maharaj, Indresh Upadhyay Ji Maharaj, Renuka Maiya Ji, Pundarik Goswami Ji Maharaj, and Achyut Gopi Devi Dasi Ji. Listening to bhajans and hari-katha further strengthened my devotion. During Purushottama Maas, I felt inspired to begin chanting the Yugal Maha-mantra, and since then I have been chanting one round of japa daily. When I visited ISKCON Bhopal for the first time, the devotees inspired me to purchase the Srimad Bhagavatam. I began reading it, and it became another important milestone in my spiritual journey. I aspire to deepen my understanding of Krishna consciousness through systematic study. It is my heartfelt desire to study the Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, and Krishna philosophy in greater depth, and, if it is Krishna's desire, one day pursue higher studies such as an M.A. and Ph.D. in this field. I am still at the beginning of my spiritual journey, but I sincerely pray to continue progressing in devotional service under the guidance of devotees and by the mercy of Sri Krishna. Hare Krishna.

I have visited ISKCON Bhopal Temple three times. Although I recognize many devotees by their faces, I do not yet know them personally by name. By the divine blessings of Lord Krishna and Guru, I was fortunate to purchase a copy of the Srimad Bhagavatam, and I have begun my spiritual journey with sincere faith and gratitude. I look forward to learning, serving, and deepening my Krishna consciousness.

I am a B.Com graduate and an aspiring UPSC Civil Services candidate. Alongside my academic journey, I have developed a deep interest in spirituality, especially the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. I enjoy reading scriptures, listening to hari-katha and bhajans, and continuously learning about Krishna consciousness. My aspiration is not only to serve society through the Civil Services but also to grow spiritually and live a life guided by devotion, compassion, humility, and selfless service. I am here to associate with like-minded devotees, learn from senior Vaishnavas, and progress in my devotional journey. I believe that good association (sadhu-sanga) is one of the greatest blessings, and I hope to build meaningful friendships centered on Krishna consciousness. Hare Krishna!

What are your expectations from this community?

My expectation from this community is to receive the association of sincere devotees (sadhu-sanga), deepen my understanding of Krishna consciousness, and progress steadily in devotional service. I hope to learn from senior devotees, participate in spiritual discussions, kirtans, and seva, and build meaningful friendships centered on Krishna. I also look forward to receiving guidance in studying the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam so that I can grow both spiritually and personally. Above all, I pray to remain humble, continue learning, and become an instrument of service by the mercy of Sri Krishna and the Vaishnavas.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

At this stage of my spiritual journey, my foremost desire is to learn. As I grow in Krishna consciousness, I would be grateful to render any service, big or small, according to my abilities and the guidance of senior devotees.
