Searching for community in Savannah, GA

Hare Krsna! Does anyone know of any devotee's living in or around the Savannah, GA area? I have been to the ISKCON temple in Atlanta twice now, but would really enjoy meeting a community closer to my home. No luck so far! Thank you!Mackensey

Update on the picnic. Had to be moved to the 25th. Sorry. We forgot about St. Patty's Day in Savannah. Not this coming Sunday but NEXT Sunday.

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My friend, who is also an aspiring devotee and has been practicing for over a year, introduced me to the movement.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

My friend and I have visited the ISKCON temple in Atlanta, GA twice now, and while there we spoke to Sikhi Mahiti Das.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am an aspiring devotee, have been chanting and studying for 4 months now, and would very much like to find some community near me to get involved with.

What are your expectations from this community?

I would like to find people in my area that I can meet to be able to discuss my questions about Krsna Consciousness as well as to find a place for community worship.
