When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

About 5 months ago, "accidentally" with my mother - we were driving past New Varshana and popped in for a visit... A devotee who was leaving showed us around the temple and then we sat down to some prasadam and a philosophical discussion. She explained the basic beliefs about souls, karma, we are not the body, reincarnation and such. I 've had ideas about this since I was a small child. What was a short visit turned out to be a couple of hours... and I then proclaimed the devotee there as my new "aunt" and came back the next day.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

New Varshana. Amrta Pani, Rohita, Inta and Albert (aspiring for Bir Krishna Maharaj also), Haripreya, Anasuya..

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I'm a character to say the least. I'm still fresh and have a lot to learn. I love harinam and kirtan - I play the harmonium and also love to sing for Krsna. I am an Aquarius (down to a T), if you like astrology... Gosh, I don't know what to say! I'm an arty type, love nature, very health conscious.. Always an open mind with me.

What are your expectations from this community?

With and without expectation, whatever will be will be.. I'm fluid.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Kirtan - singing, dancing and playing the harmonium for Krsna is my favourite, I also like to offer my art services to Krsna and the devotees.. And I can also offer healing/reiki. Cleaning Krsna's plates is also nice.
