When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 1995, Mauritius through my cousin brother H.G. Svetadvipa das who is a full time brahmacari and is currently preaching in Port Elizabeth, South Africa

I was initiated in 2003, in Pune, India by H.H> Lokanath Swami Maharaj. I was in India for a special service: to play tabla with Gurumaharaj during his kirtan in the Bhagwat Saptah. Vishwambhar was together playing mrdanga. I have had the opportunity to serve Gurumaharaj in this way on several occasions.I had the chance to play with Gurumaharaj in his CD recordings such as Amrita Dhara which was recorded in my house studio in 2003, Rasa Malayam which was recorded live in Pune Bhagwat Katha. I am currently serving devotees and Sri Sri Radha Golokananda in Mauritius, performing kirtan after Sunday feast lectures and house kirtans throughout the country. Gurumaharaj bestowed his mercy in 2009 by honouring me with Brahman diksha, since then I have been doing morning abhishek in the temple every tuesday just after Mangal Arti. Materially and professionally I am an Educator/Lecturer teaching Mathematics/Statistics/Philosophy to HSC and university students.

Kirtaniya sada Hari. I can give my life for kirtan and it is Gurumaharaj's instructions to "Stick to playing and singing for Krsna".
