When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

2 years ago, I, a fallen soul, was looked upon by Shrimati radha Rani, Krishna and Srila prabhupada and I came in contact with Hare Krishna movement. I was in the darkest times of my life and I came across Hg amogh Lila’s Prabhu ji’s YouTube video. It was random and I clicked on it without thinking much of it. That night changed my life and there is no going back. I started visiting Iskcon Punjabi Bagh and started praying to Krishna and Srila Prabhupada to give me strength to excel on my devotional path. With time, I started reading srimad bhagawad Gita, attending IGF classes, started building devotee association, made sure to read Srila prabhupada’s books but most importantly made sure that I did Nama japa, I made sure that I, religiously, did my chanting and followed the four regulative principles. I have been shown a lot of mercy by Shrimati Radha rani and Krishna and although, I have a long way to go, I am never taking these blessings for granted because I cannot wait to return back to my Krishna, my supreme lord. Srila Prabhupada ki jai! Hare Krishna!

I love reading, listening to kirtan, cooking, doing chanting with a beautiful Vraj view and glorifying Krishna. Hari Bol!

What are your expectations from this community?

I know one thing for certain, I am here, and so am here to serve. I was born in a Hindu family but not born into consciousness. I was a distracted, materialistic individual who did not know Krishna. This community made me realise how ignorant I was and How I am wasting away my human life. It has accepted me with open arms and has pushed me to open my eyes. All I ever want in this life, is to serve, glorify and love Krishna and Preach Srila prabhupada’s message. The only expectations I have from this community is to give me a chance to serve, which it has. HARI BOL!

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would love to cook, love to clean, love to make garlands for Shrimati radharani and Krishna. I would love to preach too.
