When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I came into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement when I was eight years old. I found a book and called the temple in Atlanta. Ghandhari and Bala Bhadra tought me what it meant to be Krishna Conscious.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I visit Chicago, Columbus, St Louis, and Atlanta when Bala Bhadra was the TP there. I am affiliates closely with the St. Louis temple and am working on setting up devotional services here in Indiana since 1992. I now run the preaching center here in Bloomington Indiana.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I've been worshiping Krishna since 1989. I'm 31 and live in Indiana. There are no temples in Indiana, but I want to build one on day. I work in the criminal justice field and am a graduate student for masters of forensic psychology. I lead Hare Krishna Indiana in hope to bring devotees here to Indiana for association.

What are your expectations from this community?

I want to meet more people of ISKCON and learn as much as I can. I an currently seeking association with other devotees. I have wanted for a long time to have my second initation since my first was so long ago but have been very busy starting KC here in Indiana.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to promote Krishna Consciousness through out Indiana. I will do what ever I can so that Lord Krishna may have one day, a temple home here. I currently lead a small meetup group in Bloomington Indiana so that other people can learn about Krishna Consciousness. I do what I can to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books and hope that one day Indiana will have it's very own ISKCON temple for locals to worship.
