When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I have known about ISKCON for quite a while, I first read the Gita years ago in high school but it has only recently become a real focus in my life. I have been pursuing Krishna devotion for 2 years.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Nearest is probably ISKCON Charlotte (about a 4 hour drive from me) but I have not been able to visit yet.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am 41, a mathematics teacher, I enjoy board games, kirtan, and art.

What are your expectations from this community?

I am hoping to connect with some other devotees and learn as I develop in my practice, and hopefully placing myself in a position where a guru may appear for me.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Oh I will do whatever is needed, I have experience as a graphic designer and writer, a little web design.
