When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I saw devotees having ecstatic hari-nam in the streets of downtown Chicago.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am a lost soul who is currently caretaking my 90 year old mother. We live a few blocks from the temple but these days I stay at home or go and run errands for a couple of hours. Sometimes a devotee will call me to chat. I am out of touch with sadhana and temple. I am confused by the guru issue and cannot come to any definite conclusion within my own mind after hearing arguments for or against Srila Prabhupada's disciples accepting their own disciples within ISKCON. I have much internal conflict.

What are your expectations from this community?

To find solace these days in having some contact with the devotee community.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Usually I work in the temple office doing secretarial and administrative duties. The last time I worked in the Chicago temple office was from 2000 - 2007. I had to quit to take care of my mother.
