When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

About 30 years ago, when I was fifteen. I met a monk from the San Diego temple. He gave me some books for free because I was a homeless teenager. I took home a copy of The Science of Self-Realization and The Higher Taste.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I split my time between the temple in Sammamish, WA, and the temple in San Diego, CA (when visiting family). Devotees I know in Sammamish: Harivilas Das, Vraja Raman Das, and Dhananjaya Das. In San Diego, I know Badrinarayan Swami, Balaram Das, Govardhan Das, Amogha Lila Das, Mukunda Das, Manjari Das (I know a lot of devotees at the San Diego temple).

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I'm a 45 year old retired Army veteran. I was introduced to ISKCON 30 years ago as a teenager. It took me a long time to get to the point that I came to a few years ago, when I started really trying to regulate myself and serve Krishna. I like writing, reading, and cooking.

What are your expectations from this community?

Virtual association and networking.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I want to start an active duty military and veteran outreach program to introduce and sustain Krishna consciousness among current and previous warfighters.
