When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Ogden, Utah 1975. First time went to L.A. temple one week. Karnum Rita Dasi at Sivananda yoga farm Ca. 2010 Puskar Dasa artist from Florida ( I purchase art from him)

Have always been a Bhakti in my heart. Studied with Sivananda Yoga teachers for many years and learned a lot but my satisfaction of finding a deep loving relationship with God was not developing with the practices. 12 years ago I started reading Swami Prabupada’s books and feel I found my true path. I have been listening to Vaisesika Dasas Satsangs and other presenters on Fan the Spark. I would like to be initiated. I am chanting 16 rounds and following regulative principles for two years.

What are your expectations from this community?

I would like to meet other devotees. I live and work in parts of the U.S. where there are no devotees. Also, I would like to be aware of retreats or pilgrimages that I could go on. I would like to hear about any kind of trip to Vrindavan, India.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I live to write and share the beauty of Krsna Consciousness. I write because of of my adoration of Swami Prabhupada and have been writing a blog called My Beloved Krsna. When I don’t have time to write on the blog, I have interested clients and will text verses weekly from The Bhagavad Gita as it is, SriMad Bhagavatam, or other books Swami Prabhupada wrote.
