When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Served with Bhagavan Das, Sri Govinda Das, Laksmi Narayana Das, and Narattomananda Das for two years. As a brahmacari our duties included daily sankirtan, lecturing, and temple commander responsibilities. In 1972 we were blessed with service in Bombay and Calcutta. In Calcutta we served with Jayapataka Swami, Tamal Krishna Goswami, Bhavananda Das, Gargamuni Swami, Malati Devi Dasi, and many other wonderful devotees. We served as treasurer for six months and we helped to initiate the first Rathayatra festival in Calcutta. Our next service was in Vrindaban as treasurer and construction manager. We served with Guru Das, Gunarnava Das, Jamuna Devi Dasi, and Sacinandana Das. Our responsibilities included ensuring that all construction materials were managed and utilized for construction of the Krsna Balarama Mandir. In 1973 we returned to America and served and married in Miami, Florida while serving with Avirama Das, Rasaparayana Das, and many other wonderful devotees. In 1978 we began working with F.A.T.E. studios helping Badaraj Prabhu and Akilananda Das create the first seventy-two Srila Prabhupada murtis distributed worldwide. Our responsibilities also included creating the Panchatattva Deities for Hawaii, and all of the dioramas presently displayed at the Detroit, Michigan temple. After 1981 we fully engaged in householder life in Los Angeles, CA and we began developing academic and professional skills necessary to work and raise a family. We have three children, Narayana, Cintamani, and Markandeya. So, all of our children are grown and our duties as a father and provider have been satisfied. I would like to find some temple to visit and stay for some time to preach and perform sankirtan.
