When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Since birth

I mostly visit the Krishna Kaliya temple in Lautoka, Fiji. There are so many devotees whom I know throughout Fiji and a bit from other overseas countries.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I have been a Iskcon devotee from birth. I took initiation at the age of 13 from Bir Krishna Das Goswami Maharaj. Now I'm 19 years old.I am currently a University student at Fiji National University (FNU) doing BCOM in Accounting and Information System (IS). I take a lot of interest in harinaams and Kirtan melas and through Krishna's mercy I got to learn mridanga from the age of 5 yrs and I take very much pleasure in playing mridanga, it has been the best instrument for me till now and I don't think any other western drum can ever replace the love for me to play mridanga🥰. I take so much of interest of listening to kirtans sung by various kirtanyas in ISKCON because it just melts my heart ❤ they are God gifted with such a nice voice. Iskcon has always made me happy and because of being a member I get so much of benefits as I get to make new friends all the time and also learning more from them as a way to get more and more engrossed in my spiritual life. I always admire the senior devotees for having such wonderful spiritual consciousness and i always get inspired by them to do more for Krishna ❤. I always feel that it is only because if Srilla Prabhupada that we all got a chance to do bhakti and without him i couldn't find such wonderful personalities.that I would be successful in carrying out the mission of my spiritual master which is also a mission similar to Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. What are your expectations from this community?

To get connected with other vaishnavas🥰that will help me in the long term to further advance in my spiritual journey and help me achieve krsnaprema.
