When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I was in a college in Oregon (library) looking for the deepest truth/ meaning to life that I could find, philosophy, science, God knows what-all... and I found some of Prabhupada's books.......BINGO!!! The 4th of July in November 1985. (George Harrison helped, too) Krishna did the rest. Haribol

Say what? I'm just the fallenest of the fallen souls and the feeblest excuse for a devotee. But I try. I have a lot of nice godbrothers and sisters and we all get along fine. I live six miles from the temple. I have also lots of things rolling around in my mind like any other normal moron. I'm retarded, I mean retired, (in my own right), spending a lot of time online searching for the cheat codes to spiritual life and Krishna Consciousness LOL. What are your expectations from this community?

PAMHO/AGTSP. No expectations whatsoever. I don't even know how I got here. I was looking for mahamantra wallpaper, something colorful 800x600, and I clicked on that beautiful Krishna diety picture and got this site, looked pretty good, thought I'd give it a shot. But I never did get to see the larger image! Where is it? I want that picture, dammit. It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo AWESOME!!! Is there any way you can please email it to me so I can save it with my gallery of Krishna art? I'll help you out if I can. I distributed four Bhagavad Gitas this year so far. This is what I like to do most.
