When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I first came into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement during a visit to the ISKCON temple in new york in 2015. I was introduced to the teachings by a friend who invited me to a spiritual gathering.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

The nearest ISKCON temple to me is the ISKCON New York Temple. I frequently visit the temple for spiritual events and celebrations. Some of the devotees I know there are Rajesh Prabhu, Priya Mataji, and Devaki Mataji

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am a devoted follower of the Hare Krishna Movement, practicing Bhakti Yoga and striving to deepen my spiritual understanding. I enjoy attending temple programs, chanting, and reading Srila Prabhupada’s books. I’m always open to connecting with like-minded individuals who are passionate about Krishna Consciousness and willing to share wisdom and experiences.

What are your expectations from this community?

I expect to find a supportive environment where I can engage in meaningful spiritual discussions, share my experiences, and learn from the wisdom of other devotees. I also hope to stay connected with the global ISKCON community, participate in virtual programs, and deepen my spiritual practice.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would love to offer my service in spreading the teachings of Lord Krishna through community outreach and educational programs. By organizing kirtans, study groups, and discussions about Bhagavad Gita, I hope to help devotees and newcomers deepen their understanding of Krishna Consciousness. Additionally, I would like to assist in temple maintenance and offering food to the less fortunate, as it aligns with the principle of serving others with love and devotion.
