May you be blessed with the shelter of the Lord of Lords;

the Lord of all the mystics, the Supreme Personality of

Godhead, Lord Krishna, Who has descended in the form of

Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu to teach us real knowledge, His

devotional service and detachment from whatever does

not foster Krishna consciousness. He has descended because

He is an ocean of transcendental mercy. He is indeed an

ocean of mercy, and although the subject matter of bhakti

yoga is very confidential, He has nonetheless manifested

it so nicely, even in this age of Kali, the age of quarrel. He

is outwardly of a fair complexion, but is inwardly Krishna

Himself. In the age of Kali, He displays His expansions by

performing congregation chanting of the Holy Name of

the Lord. By His auspicious mercy all kinds of material

lamentations are driven away by making everything pure

and blissful. And all quarrels and disagreements arising

from different scriptures are vanquished. With love and best

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I met some devotees at a Greatful Dead concert in Washington DC who were distributing free Food for Life in1993.

Hello. I am a fellow devotee. I like to study Sanskrit language and scripture. I like to listen to the Amala Bhakta das narrations of Srila Prabupada's translations of Srimad-Bhagavatam, Bhagavad-gita, and others too. I am also studying the Chinese translation of Bhagavad-gita along with the Sanskrit as translated by ISKCON devotees. Its fascinating! I also like to study Tai Chi. I am openminded to all religions as long as they focus on developing good qualities in their followers.

What are your expectations from this community?

Good prasadam(spiritualized food offered to the Lord), Good devotional music, Good fellowship, Good Scripture classes, Good Hare Krisna Holidays celebrations,Good spiritual guidance, happiness, humility, forgiveness, peace, devotional servce, charity(such as Food for Life), modesty, chastity,etc.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Devotional music, charity work, spiritual artwork, etc. I also like heavy metal music and I play electric guitar and sing, maybe I can use that in service of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna!
