When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
John Joseph... The Cro Mags. 108. My life changed in a matter of seconds and it's been the most terrifying experience of my life. This is saying a lot, considering the terror inducing life I'd lived up to that point.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
Laguna Beach, though I've never been because I am to afraid to show up in person.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
Confused. One minute I knew myself and the next I was someone unrecognizable. The only thing that changed in my life was the introduction of the Maha Mantra. It's been years and it's still shaking my world.
What are your expectations from this community?
Just some insight into how people live wholesome productive lives after this energy comes through and destroys everything about the world that they thought they knew.. Just somebody to talk to really.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I wish that I could know the answer to this, but at the moment I feel that I am more in a position to seek help rather than to give it. My entire reality is shattered and I feel so alienated. I would love to give back but first I need to understand.. This has been the most ungrounding experience of my life and I feel like everything is up in the air. Once the pieces fall into place, maybe then I can start thinking about my service to the world and to iskcon in particular. But right now, I just need to understand what is going on.
