When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My mother introduced ISKCON to me when I was in a bad state of mind.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I have not visited any ISKCON temple due to my studies and tuition. I plan to visit Mayapur once I clear my 12th board exams.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I used to eat all sorts of meat (excluding beef) before my mother introduced ISKCON to me. Now I only eat fish, which will also stop soon once I learn to cook my food. I am eager to learn more about our heritage and lead the purest form of life possible. Any help in this matter will be appreciated. I am (according to my friends) a good person to open up to and an excellent shoulder to cry on however I can be a little annoying at times but I think that's a little character trait of mine :)

What are your expectations from this community?

I hope to be able to learn more about ISKCON and our Indian heritage overall. I believe in being within the correct groups, anyone can flourish and lead a dharmic life.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I am not sure what I can offer to the Lord or his devotees. I hope to be able to find some service I can offer as I grow up.
