  q)    why there is need of chanting?

  A)because in this materilistic world ,we are also materilistic we run after so many things even when we sit for prayer we recell so many things in our mind and leave the prayer behind get involve with day to day day chore  initally we think we do our prayers along with work but it does not usully work for many of us and aftersome time we get busy with our work ,beside this if we do our rounds in the morning automatically we recaal him with our evry breath, as we practicsed it n morning .This is exactly what i thioght i am a begeinner and want to listen mor ans to this ques.Hare Krishna
