When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I always knew about it, because my parents used to take me to the nearby Iskcon temple during evening Arti. We found peace there as it's beautifully made and is the cleanest of all temples. Then I came to know about Krishna devotees through my aunt (taiji) who's a Gaudiya math member (navdeep). But later I stopped to think about it all. But recently I came across a YouTube video of Makarand Paranjape describing Swami Vivekanand and his life. I then started reading swami Vivekananda book and got to know more about Sanatan Dharma and Vendanta. I researched a lot about it and came across videos of swami mukundananda. Among all of this research I got to understand that loving Krishna is the aim of life. This led me to watching sri bhagvatam lecture videos of Srila Prabhupada.

The most frequently visited Iskcon temple is East of Kailash temple.

I used to think that I'm Amit. But now I know that I'm a soul whose goal is to dedicate this human life to his father Sri Krishna. I had always been a shy and depressed person. I didn't know what was I doing. What is the purpose of this life? But never found any answers. But getting to know the Lord I have found the answer to everything and the depression has gone. I'm an ambivert person. I like to have deep conversations about spirituality. I enjoy poetry and making art. I'm a data scientist by profession. Looking forward to meeting like minded people. ☺️

What are your expectations from this community?

I'm looking forward to meeting like minded people who are spiritually inclined and Krishna Conscious. I've read that association with devotees is the biggest step towards progress in spiritual life and that is what I hope for. I'm a little shy in meeting new people physically so internet is the best place to meet new people.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would love to write about Sri Krishna through articles and poems so other people can read and get inspired by them.
