When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
I had a friend back in 1989 who exposed me to Krishna consciousness and the Bhaghavad Gita As It Is. I have read this book all the way through- likely more than once. Also, I have read other published versions many many times over the past 20 years or so. I have been to the ISKCON center here in St. Louis for devotional prayer, meals, and conversation several times. There is a particular devotee here in St. Louis- Chuckri- who I enjoy speaking with. We have crossed paths several times over the years at various, somewhat random locations.

I am lab assistant at a plant science facility here in St. Louis. After getting a Life Science Lab Assistant Certificate from St. Louis Community College, I got the lab assistant job in 2015. I then received an associate degree while continuing to work as a lab assistant. I am currently working towards a Batchelor's Degree in Biology.
