When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Seventeen years ago, in a remote town of Labasa in Vanua Levu Island of Fiji throug a locally produces small magagine called "Krishna Sun" which had an invitation to the HAre Krishna Temple Sunday Feast mid-day programme. so one Sunday I ended up at the Labasa Temple, met devotees, enquired re: the goal of life and the rest is history

We are forming a new center soon in Nasinu Suva Fiji. We already have 50 congregational members. Besides, I serve at SRI Sri Radha Golokabihari Temple in TOOrak, Suva. There I serve in liaison with the Temple President Visvanath Das and other office bearers - Madhuranga Das, Jugal Kisore Das, Radha Kanth Das, Gokul Nandan Das, Sumukha Das etc......

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I like association of devotees. I go to great lengths to bring devotees together. Also those who show some interest are given some attention . In fact I organize a gathering of devotees and others once every week at my home with full feast Prasadam, Srila Prabhupada Guru Puja, Arti, discourse and Tulsi worship. I also love Harinam Sankirtana. I organize weekly Harinam every Sunday and also distribute 300 pieces of Halwa to peoples homes while they wholeheartedly and willingly donate . Before I used to distribute alone but since the last one year or so I have been joined by other devotees so we have Harinam also. I love to read Srila Prabhupada everyday, also i spend some time on internet to keep abreast with happenings at ISKCON all around the world.

What are your expectations from this community?

We can work together and help me make my whole country of Fiji Krishna Conscious just as Srila Prabhupada has said it will happen that Fiji will perhaps be the first fully Krishna Conscious country in the world....so help me make it happen

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

yes, Harinam together, sharing Prasadam together and lets convince others and bring them into Krishna consciousness, this will please our gurus, Srila Prabhupada and of course this will keep you and I in jolly good company too, rgds.
